DATES TO SAVE IN 2023
Based upon current information, below is a list of future meetings, trainings, and paddle trips. We will also discuss trip planning at club meetings and any new trips will be added to the list once dates and coordinators are set. You should see formal announcements on this website roughly 3 weeks prior to each event. Signup for paddle trips will not begin until officially announced and, based upon individual circumstances, there may be a limit on the number of paddlers allowed to attend a specific event. If so, signup will be on a first come, first served basis.

Moss Creek Paddle (Saturday, April 27, 10:30 am, NO RAIN DATE): Meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 launch at Buckingham Landing in Bluffton. The landing is just across the Mackay Creek bridge. Make the first left after crossing the bridge (just past the gas station) and continue down to what used to be the Daufuskie Island Ferry dock, near the circular building at the end of the road.
After launching, we will make a left, go under the Mackay Creek bridge and enter the marsh leading toward Moss Creek. We will paddle for approximately 1 hour, then return to the launch point.
This is a BYO kayak event, as there are no rentals available at the launch location. Please contact Janis Agnew directly at [email protected] if you are interested in joining us on this paddle. DO NOT EMAIL THE KAYAK CLUB.
Following the paddle, we are planning to go to Club Seats Grille, on Main Street, for lunch. If you are interested in joining us for lunch, please let Janis know when you contact her about the paddle.
